Re: To take or not: Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) verdict?

It amazes me that people can promote the use of METAL and ACID in a bottle. It's not natural. You're only promoting CANCER when you argue the use of this stuff (and all other vitamin supplements for that matter). We all agree that the body should have an alkaline Ph? Why are you taking ascorbic ACID? This stuff makes your PH drop like a rock. These people who claim to have GREAT results over the years may be healthy DESPITE vitamin C and not because of it. You have to think of that side as well. Why do many people not get sick when on vitamin C? MAYBE because they are so ACIDIC that nothing wants to live in their blood. How do you think prescription drugs work??? It's ALL ACID. It all kills everything, including the person eventually. At the end of the day, if there is a major DEBATE on something health related, why would you risk your health like that? The other people on this forum might be right and I'm wrong. BUT I might be right which leaves you in a very bad position in about 20 years. Here's the last of my TWO cents - take a whole food supplement like powdered kelp - at least that has everything you need in the right ratios as nature intended.
