Re: Why I was angry...

worth allot! tons!
Talk about hitting the nail on the head.
I have struggled with just this very issue and have been so concerned and have lost sleep many nights.
I know all this you are speaking of, and I do not know very well how to prepare him for the real world.
I have tried to teach or I might say,set what I deem good examples in certain aspects, but what to do for him now, I have a few questions.
I feel helpless at times.
I pray, but fail to put feet to my prayers-that means action.
Oh,my son is 17, and angry, and it is due to what you mentioned here.
I also wanted to mention that he is good, but when we try anything with him his most famous words are,"leave me alone",but I don`t want to anymore,I know what he is facing.

I admit fault for letting it slide thus far.
We moms Love our kids so much that we would do anything to see them happy and successful, but above all safe and Loved out there, well, thats what I feel.
Are you a parent?
And, I was wondering what you did to get past your anger?
Thnx for your post it hits it!

peace
