Transmission of virus. Need info!!

Hello,

I need some information. I recently had sexual contact with a partner with genital virus. We used a condom during intercourse, but there was some genital contact beforehand without a condom. Without getting too graphic, I have been losing sleep because he was having a breakout at the time. What I need to know is this: What are the odds that I now have the virus? What does it take to actually get it- EXACTLY? IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO HAS HAD A CLOSE CALL WHERE THEY THOUGHT THEY HAD GIVEN OR RECEIVED THE VIRUS IN A SIMILAR SITUATION, BUT NEVER DID? I would very much appreciate your input.
