Radioactive Iodine pellets are used in prostrate cancer as one of hte top treatments. So something is happening there to cause an uptake of Iodine more than other tissues. Just like the ovaries and breasts are Iodine hungry.

Of course why they aren't using just plain ole iodine is the $63,000 million dollar question we know the answer too.......
