Scary. I've never been there - but...

One of my old employees moved there to take a job with a museum (can't recall the name). His mother is a client of mine and works out in my gym. She continually tells me I need to check out Austin, that it's an incredible town. (Art and music, people, ease in way of life) She knows I want out of here. Finally it's become a physical need.

As indicated earlier, I'm scouring the earth for the most optimal place (for me) to live. Lately I've thought this would mean leaving the US. Until recently, the three areas in the US I was considering are Austin, Phoenix, and San Diego.

I know know nothing about Texas. But have tons of curiosity - going on three years now.
