Good job! Keep it up! I think I was trying to start my fast at the same time you started, but I caved. Now I'm on day 4 and very proud of my success thus far, but still a little piece of me wishes I was on day 9 like you. I think I'll just use you as lead to follow as I pass these same landmarks.

My fasting is tied to my spiritual life and not just my physical. I am following the BEST lead for a virtuous, self-less life in Jesus Christ. His 40 day fast is an inspiration to me and many others I know. I am looking forward, and praying that I am able, to completing this act of self-discipline in my life.
