My understanding is that the new Regulations only apply to sellers and distributors, and not purchasers.

I also understand that Lugol's solution will still be available after the new Regs are being enforced, but that sellers / distributors will be required to obtain more documentation from the purchaser, but that Lugol's and other forms of Iodine will still be available.

I also understand, that if person X purchases a gallon of Lugols on June 30, and that if the new Regs go into effect on July 1, that person X will not be able to furnish person Y with Lugols, without fulfilling the obligations of the regulations. This means that Fred in Chicago cannot send 1 ounce of Lugol's to his pal Eddie in Hoboken without obtaining the necessary documentation from Eddie.

I'd appreciate knowing if any of the above is un-true.
