this is basically our magnetospere going south right now. literally positive fluctuations in the magnetic field. except they are not fluctuations. they are pegged. and they are not due to solar activity. the earth is just doing this! magnetic pole flip? the north pole is negative, the stuff on this chart is showing positive. take a look. might not ever get another chance.
