yes, you do not want to crown a root canal.  it is best to pull it, but you need a biologic dentist to do it so it is properly cleaned.  then, you wear a temporary partial for 2 to 3 months until you can get either a permanent partial or bridge.  if you email me, i will send you a list of dentists in L.A.  if you get a permanent partial, it will cheaper than a bridge.  you can get a small one,
