Re: Follow up to Grzbears post re elemental Iodine (and notes on calcium hydroxide and Iodoral)

I have come this far with my understanding, so I think reading that book would be a plus. I'm not against kelp, I just need to find a safe source and convince my husband of it's safety. It's hard to go against my husband when I know he has his own fears about me having MS. The thought of possiably poisoning me with arsenic is considered a big risk, in his mind. It took a lot of faith in me for him to be comfortable in watching me make the decision to go "all natural" and not use the meds the doctors would have tried. He may be considered the bad guy (FDA) but he loves me a lot and wants the best.

Do you believe we can detox of excessive halogens by using kelp and staying alkaline? If so, would it happen slowly...too slow?
