Some members of that hospital staff have either resigned or been suspended, pending a possible criminal investigation, not to mention the 911 call receptionists. This particualr hospital has a history of this and may lose federal funding or even be closed. But this wont solve the epidemic issue in the ERs across the US. I have seen both sides of this treating patients in the ER and as a patient leaving 2 different hospitals because of 12 hours plus waiting time. Recently in sofla we have had 3 incarcerated patients die under the same circumstances in recent months.
