Re: tooth/gum infection

yes, oregano oil is used in dentist offices too.   mostly i see it used for pain, inflamed gums, and swelling after procedures and gum disease.  i have heard people say it got rid of their abcess, but from a medical perspective of course i have to say what happens in most all cases, that abcessed teeth do not reverse, just so no one gets worse if it doesn't work.  one thing to be cautious of, if you get a tooth pulled or cavitation done, you are advised against, by the dentists, to get oil in the hole.  it can cause infection by trapping bacteria.  you are pretty safe after 2 or 3 days of healing.
