tooth/gum infection

HEY!
i'm new to cure zone community and was just refereed by a friend. i have an emergency!
i've been having pain in my front lower gums for one week now. yesterday i went to the dentist and she said i had an infection in the tooth in front of my K9 and that it seemed to be spreading to the two teeth in front of it. she scared me by saying i would probably need a root canal on that one tooth and possibly on all 3!!! she said having that done will prevent me from having to have oral surgery if the infection spreads to the bone.I can't go ahead with having root canals just like that (no cavity, no decay, no traumatic injury). there must be another solution not to mention that i can't afford that right now. i was supposed to go in again today for her to "drain the infection" as she said there was an accumulation of pus in the gum which was making it irritated and a little swollen.

she gave me an anti-biotic called AMOX TR-K 500 mg (i don't usually take them)which i've taken twice a day for two days now. this morning i woke up feeling less pain though i could see some swelling in the affected area when i looked in the mirror. the gum is still dark red and the pain is not gone. it hurts when i bite into something moderately hard.

any advise would be great. i know clove essential oil relieves pain in the teeth and gums. i'm into any natural form of healing including homeopathy, which i have basic knowledge about.
i know i can fight this without a root canal!
