I disagree with soulfulsurvivor's post

I too would be uncomfortable in your position and you should most certainly be concerned about your girlfriend's new man. However, if you love her and you're certain she loves you then there should be no reason not to move forward in your relationship. Providing that she has come clean with everything and the other guy is out of the picture.
