Re: Heliophobia Anyone??
WHO diagnosed you as bipolar due to
Depression after the passing of your father?!?!?!?! Being "depressed" after the passing of a loved one under any circumstances (forewarned, or sudden) will result in natural, normal, healthy, reasonable, and realistic expressions of loss which are often misconstrued, warped, and twisted into diagnoses of depression! The loss of a loved one can also trigger unreasonable fears or "anxieties" that have no basis and seem to have suddenly bubbled to the surface without warning.
I would suggest that you read, "On Death and Dying," by Kubler-Ross. This will explain your normal reactions and help you to work through the process of grieving without being improperly diagnosed.
Best of wishes to you - this, too, shall pass.
