My son was in the Peace Keeping Forces in Kosovo, the only ones shooting at the peace keepers were muslim snipers.
At first they did not think peace keepers needed high security. My son's commanding officer walked around a building and was trapped by some muslims, one cut him open and pulled his intrails out, it was not a fast death. needless to say, security forces decided they needed to protect themselves after that incident.
My son is in Special Forces and was in iraq both times and kosovo, and he will be leaving again very shortly, and we know he will either go to afghanistan or iraq again, and I will worry again every day like I have before, every military parent thinks about the worse that can happen.
