I understand you used to live in a muslim/christian country. How did you find the life? Was it Bosnia you used to reside in, or somewhere in the Balkans.

I had a neighbor who was from Croatia. She was raised christian and converted to Judaism. Very nice woman. She told me of muslim children being used as deocorations on the outside of the mosques by serb forces ( hung corpses )
She saw it with her own eyes. That thought just came to me.

I was wondering if you were there during that terrible time, and if that was how you left because of the war.

If you have anything to share it would be very interesting to hear. My grandmother is from Austria, and i feel a connection to that region of the world.

I wonder how things are now over there.
