I have the opposite effect,I actualy sleep more soundly and I fall asleep without trouble now.When I was only eating protein mostly I could'nt get to sleep at all..period.And with raw/rare steaks,sleep was a thing of the past.I was wired all night!Not too long ago I could'nt sleep for like a week! and it was mostly accouted to the rare steak I ate plus add a almost no carb intake and you run into trouble!
I find that if I eat complex carbs (kidney bean chili) about an hour or so before bed I knock right out! Plus I have like zero sugars close to bedtime.
Feels liberating on the WD dosen't it? I periodicly go back and see if I can go back to eating alot of calories again and it just dosen't feel natural to me.I used to be on similar bodybuilding 5k calorie diets but after being on the WD for soo long..I don't think I could ever go back!
