Very fascinating information! I've always believed that the best method is indeed to make something yourself - you know the history, and if it fails you will ultimately know why (or at least have a clue). With the modern machine, there are so many factors that what someone else is telling you MAY be true, but there is no way to know how it failed.

From what I have read it seems that tinctures and teas work better - I believe it may have even been a Dr. Christopher writing that talked about the body NEEDING to taste the herbs for the action to start. My personal testamonial speaks the strongest. I have taken capsules before, many of them did nothing, and the herbs were utter crap. I remember opening a brand I thought was good, and the 40,000 HU Cayenne barely had any heat to it. My cayenne from a local spice shop is cheaper and it works better. I always questioned it working for migraines - until I took 2tsp in water, as Dr Chrstopher suggests in his book. In about 10 seconds, 90% of the intense pain was GONE. I can finally throw out the pharma-crap that I was keeping "just in case" because I don't need it.

I recently started taking tinctures - they are working, too! I'm sure there is a better way than my dabbling (which besides probably costing more, is not as effective), which is why I am seriously considering the SNH. With the right knowledge, and the do-it-yourself attitude I think that more can be achieved than most people think. If anything, laziness seems to be the biggest barrier to true healing beyond misinformation. Tweet
