Re: Lugol's or Iodoral?

There are different preferences. Some like Lugol's. Some prefer Iodoral.

Iodoral takers seem to get much better scores on the Iodine loading Test but nobody knows why. There is speculation Iodoral is metabolized in the small intestine rather than the stomach (it has a pharmaceutical glaze to protect the stomach) so that may be the reason.

There are other kinds of Iodine put on the market all the time. If you have a serious illness, I wouldn't experiment with the newer ones.
