Strange redish pink spot on left breast next to nipple. What could this be?

I have had a strange redish pink spot on my left breast about the size of a pencil eraser. I have a lot of veins on my breasts from bluish ones to pinish ones but this one is different because its more prominent and it does look like there are tiny veins inside of it. I have seen a couple doctors and they have no idea what this is. Could this be breast cancer. I have had it for 4 years and its never gone away, some times its less pigmented than others. My son is breastfeeding at 18 months and I have never had any problems in that area, but I had the spot long before breastfeeding ever started. What shall I do? I have no answers. Could this be breast cancer? Who do I talk to about this. Why doesn't anyone know anything? This is soo strange? Any help would be very much appreciated.
