I am a bit new to the iodine arena and still learning, so forgive me if this has been posted before, but the topic of hypothyroid came up in my own health forum and this reply was posted, which I pass along to you:
I was hypothyroid all my life. I began taking iodine (in the form designed by Edgar Cayce) daily, and all my tests now show that I am no longer hypothyroid. Studies by a Dr Abram, reported in Dr Browntein's book on Iodine, show that breast cancers, cysts, and prostate cancers just start to melt when the body gets enough iodine.
