Hmmm, is there anything that would 'deflect' the radiation? Re: unyquity, RE: US Mail Now Irradiated
The stones that we had 'color change' went from our home in Iowa, to: Great Britain; New Jersey & Connecticut.
We have received rocks from all over the world (many of which will not change colors when irradiated); since we didn't see the rocks/crystals in person that we purchased, there's no way for us to know for SURE that we've had parcels irradiated coming IN to Iowa, but we're almost positive all our shipments from South Africa to Iowa had a few boxes that were VERY suspicious.
Your concerns over the Iodoral may very well be valid. I don't know that much about types of radiation and it's effects (except it's "toxic", it ultimately kills 'life' in virtually any form, and it alters the structure of virtually everything it comes into contact with)....so I don't want ANY! (I'm sure I get plenty even though I avoid as much as I can).
I wonder if there's a substance that a parcel could be wrapped in that would deflect/repel the radiation? Obviously no ones can ship their food/iodine in a lead box, but I think it would be worth looking into to see if there's anything (like aluminum foil, perhaps?) that would deflect the radiation....even if it's not a complete 'barrier', any little bit deflected would be better than none.
Also, what about UPS and other alternate carriers? Is USPS the ONLY carrier that irradiates? (I sure hope so).
Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than us will have some answers or suggestions!
