unyquity, RE: US Mail Now Irradiated
Thanks for your post. After reading "
Sorting out -- Is US Mail Now Irradiated?" by #10831, I think the EPA and USPS are not being totally up front, a frequent complaint these days. If your rocks evidence a change from this exposure, just how much irradiation is
actually administered? Do your mailings only go to ZIP codes 202, 203, 204, and 205?
My concern is the Iodoral I've purchased from various companies that have shipped through USPS. What effect does the irradiation have on these pills I've been ingesting? How much has the Iodoral absorbed?

Irradiation Update: Irradiation remains the best technology for rendering the mail safe from biohazards in a timely fashion, say postal officials. "We've found no
medical or scientific link" to irradiated mail and health-related complaints, such as itching and sneezing, cited by federal workers who have handled the specially treated mail, says Deborah Willhite, senior VP, Government Relations and Public Policy. Currently, the only mail being irradiated is destined for specific government offices in ZIP Codes 202, 203, 204 and 205."
