Re: Sick from Olive Oil, headaches, please help

Your oil may have been rancid as well... it's turns rancid quickly. Next time make sure you buy extra virgin, cold pressed in a dark bottle, and keep it in the fridge to keep it fresh. You will need to let it sit out for a little bit before using to warm up a bit so it will pour. A couple of teaspoons a day, on a salad, with lemon juice or vinegar of some type is about all one needs, if that much.

Most alternative health experts feel that organic butter is ok to use in very small amounts. It does ok for stir-frying. I use about a teaspoon or less.

We really don't need oil to stir fry... try using 2 or 3 tablespoons of pure water, stir and cook 2 or 3 minutes, cover skillet turn off fire for a minute or two to let the heat finish cookng. This works well if the harder veggies are julianed or cut small. Add a bit of olive oil after it is cooked as the oil helps our bodies process the veggies a little easier... it is good for us used in that way.

PS I is also good to have activated charcoal capsules from the health food store in the house for anytime we think we ate somthing that will make us sick. It absorbs and removes toxins out of our system. It won't hurt you at all. It is good if one drinks too much alcohol as well.
