Doctor must be wrong

I had my Mirena installed in July 2005. Last year I went to my doctor to complain about my symptoms ( tired, no libido & mood swings) I thought my marriage was about to end. He said that maybe Depression was causing me the lack of interest in sex. He placed me on an anti-drepressant. Took it for 2 months notice no difference in anything. He did blood work check out my hormone and iron levels. Said the my hormones were low, so then he put me on Estratest. After being on Estratest for 4 months I stopped taking it. Mainly because of all of the possible side effects (cancer mainly) and the fact that still sex was not any better. Why should I die and miss my child growing up to satisfy someone elses need (my husbands) when the hormone wasn't helping me? I have tried Avlamil for 2 months now, it isn't doing a thing for me either. Try this - try that- I am so sick of this. My husband doesn't get it either. He thinks I don't love him because I don't get vaginal wetness any more. He is going nuts and he is hurting me with his harsh words. I can't get him to understand any of this I pray every day and night that God will give me some light to this. Perhaps this sight is the light.
After reading some of the postings posted on Mirena, I am going to attempt to call my doctor and have it removed again. I have been living with a feeling of uselessness for too long. I need to be the old me again. I just hope that the Mirena is really what is causing all of my problems. Because it has been and excellent birth control device.
