Re: Duct tape no magical cure for warts, study finds

FYI My 15 year old daughter had a Plantar Wart imbedding into her Right great toe for over 1 and 1/2 years (it started out as a speck which we thought was just an embedded splinter or one of those hard to find fine silver splinters from some weeds). After trying various forms of wart removal compounds and patches, it began to spread to other toes as well.

We got serious and used green banana peels... We taped a piece of the peel over the wart and left it on for 24 hours before changing to a new piece. Before placing the new piece she cut off the now white skin (old wart) and put a new patch on. After 3 days the wart was totally removed and hasn't come back in 1 year. We pray it never does either. We liked this best as it wasn't associated with any pain.
