I gather you're using Giovanni?

Olefin sulfonate, is one of the gentler sulphates, but if you're one of those people that try to avoid sulphates then you're out of luck. 

Cocomidopropyl betain is usually a coconut derived ingredient, (although I think it's just made artifically now) it's just for cleansing your hair, it works in combination with the sulphate.

Glycerine, is used to moisturize your hair, as well as to help the detergants work better. It works the same as honey, it's a humuliant, it helps draw moisture from the air.

Tocopherol is vitamin E, it's use to "protect" the hair, and is sometimes used as an extra preservative.

Potassium sorbate I believe is a fatty acid mixed with salt, it is used as a preservative also used in food products.

Citric acid, is basically what the name says, it's an acid. It's just used as a preservative, it's safe.
