But that would be because of the mistaken idea that 'seniors' aren't useful.
My husband is 82, and he just joined a fellow practicing Third World organic gardening, in town.
Of course we talk lightly about not over-doing, and just this morning we were talking about taking on the watering job between us...carrying water.
It dawned on me that there is a whole community of active seniors around here who would be glad to take a small part each, in return for some produce and good company.
The efforts of forty-six people, each doing a small part, could get lots done, easily and quickly.
Besides, I've got some other things that will please seniors.
Seniors are more of a moving force than most people think. It is really hard to keep good people down.
