Re: Some need EOs, some don't?

Genetics aren't the only explanation. The health of people in westernized societies has declined dramatically over the past 100 years, yet our genes have not changed.

Essential oils are essential, and they exist in many different foods. However, the best ratio of omega 3:6 is 1:1 to 1:2 and not 1:20 like in the standard American diet. This is setting the stage for cancer and heart disease later in life.

Your friends will come down with incurable, chronic diseases sooner or later. Just look at the statistics. If that makes you feel better =)

But, yes, you likely have a genetic predisposition to some ailments, just like I do. You can usually overcome the predisposition by leading a healthy lifestyle though.

As I said in a previous post, don't overdo omega 3. It can cause horrible breakouts. Your body also needs saturated fats to make use of the omega 3, so make sure you get those as well.
