Hi Kevin!!

The clay is 100% powdered Bentonite from 'DeathValley' It is called AZTEC INDIAN HEALING CLAY but, it is external only. You can but a internal Bentonite, which is in liquid form that is used for drinking as a toxin removal. I haven't tried that yet, but have thought about it. The story I have posted about the Clay was really an AWESOME experience. I have never really had acne, but over the years, my pores on my nose have gotten bigger. This clay has made them almost dissapear!! Honest!! As Southern Belle said in an earlier post about the mask,"I'm so cute, I can't hardly stand myself" (or something like that) *smile* So, try it, even if you do not have an Acne problem, it will make your face smooth, and your skin-tone even!!

P.S.** Another thing about the clay, if you can sit where a breeze can blow across your face, like lay down on the couch with the celing fan on, you can feel it pulling your face tighter as it cleans and pulls out toxins!!
