Re: So, amalgam removal is a health gamble in itself...
Hi again
the dentist gave me copious amount of water. He proposed to stop quickly after drilling for a while to spit and wash my mouth with water, and to exhale as well. That was a repeated process for a every filling replacement.
Before I went to the dentist I took some activated charcoal.I did this also after leaving his practice. It is supposed to attach to mercury which is circulating in huge amounts during the replacement.
I had been taking the following antioxidants/minerals for all the period(5 months)in which I replaced the mercury fillings.
Took 2-3gram vit C/daily(no sedation or something similar)
selenium 200mcg/daily
for details pleasae read the post of Boldyloxx below

it helped me not only overcome my fears about the replacement but to prepare enough with a non biologic dentist.
The only deterioration I noticed about my health was the increase of my gut bleeding(I was bleeding due to colitis then). And this one only on the day of the replacement.Nothing else.
I wish good luck and health
Greetings from the Mediterranean
