Re: Is It Safe to Go to A Non-Bilogical Dentist?
Hi, I went to a non biologic dentist for my first
Amalgam removals because I didn't know any better. But it went fine. I didn't get the protection though, just suction. I was lucky it went ok.
But make sure the dentist is an honest one, someone that does actually respect your feelings on mercury. He/she must remove the
Amalgam thoroughy and you can ask for that assurance. Tell them that this means a lot to you and that you would like the assurance that he will do a thorough removal and not leave anything behind because this is a move you are doing for the sake of your health.
Certainly if you have no biologic dentists in your area, you may have no other choice.
Sadly, even some biologic dentsits do not always do an honest job. One holistic dentist in my area makes claims about mercury and how bad it is and how he had to have his removed. yet I heard that he's left
Amalgam behind in his patients and just covered it up with white composite. So there is dishonestly in this business on both sides. Very hard to know who to trust!!!
