It's highly unlikely that you'd get HSV2 orally. Oral HSV2 happens, but it's relatively rare. Even less likely that you'd get it through kissing. The most likely route would be by you performing oral sex on someone with active HSV2, but even then, as I say, it's not likely.

Please remember that herpes is not a systemic infection. It is localized to the general area of the initial infection.
