Oh The Politics

I have the luxury of having two Doctors as close personal freinds. They have explained to me that more doctors, than what most people would believe, would love to embrace some of the tried and true measures of alternative healthcare. When ever they try, their overseeing organization, AMA (CMA in Canada), comes heavily down on them, often resulting in the removal of their lisence. So often, their appearance of lack of open mindedness is a direct result of bullying from corporations and government working hand in hand to supress unpatentable alternative healing modalities. Also of interest, when anyone with credibility tries to expose this issue to the public, they are discredited by a team of PR experts, who drag the messenger through the mud, so the public doesn't listen to what they say anyway.
You could say that illness is big business (especially cancer), so they are protecting their interests with an iron fist and hanging on to the monoply that they enjoy.

I highly recommend books written by Len Horowitz who has done a profound job in exposing this "big business". He backs up everything he says with hard facts and documentation.

One question I have: is the excess fluid interstitial or within the stomach itself? Is the fluid being drained off by a shunt (tube)? If it is indeed interstitial, then I think the poster who suggested clay packs is right on the money.

If it was me, I would decide which way to go, allopathic or natural. Right now, it seems one is interfering with the other.
