Re: Thanks MadArt(ist)... Re: about the chocolate cravings...

Hi MadArt(ist),

I am not on the kudzu, at this time, nor am I on the "My Way Out" program. Actually I have not heard of that program.

I was reading about the kudzu and stopping alcohol cravings. Seeing as when I stopped drinking I begun craving chocolate, intensely, I figured it was a strong connection to the alcohol. First, I thought it might be mental but now, (it has been coming onto 19 months since I drank) it appears that there is more than just mental.

I have 'stopped' chocolate...for a few days and then get back into it. Since I stopped drinking I have gained almost 30 pounds. It is time for me to release this weight and release the urge for chocolate. LOL It was (almost, although not quite) easier to stop drinking than it is for me to release the urge for chocolate!

I purchased graham crackers! I will eat those, although I am hoping this 'sugar craving' moves through me, quicker than it has.

I stopped drinking for a mirade of reasons. One of them was to become healthy. The most important reason was my son. I am working on becoming healthy. I found CZ this past October and have done much to help my health...not consistently but am working on that also.

At any rate, sorry for rambling. I will begin the graham crackers and pick up a B complex.

Thanks again for your time and knowledge, MadArt(ist)!

Beth
