Gaulbladdrer

I was in the hospital. They say i have a stone in the gaulbladder.And they want to remove it.
My liver is not the best and i understand it would have to work harder if they remove gaulbladder.
Is this true? and is there another way i could get these stones out of my gaulbladder?
Please let me know they want to remove it end of the week. The pain has stopped for right now just have to watch what i eat. please let me know what you think.
