Re: Mixing various vegetables and fruits - Not Good?

Pepe I suspect as long as you have been around you know more than I. Perhaps you have seen some recent misinformation posted here though. My concern with something as potentially healthful as juicing would be the same potential danger we have with food combining, which is fermentation from incomplete digestion caused by minimizing the efficacy of fruits and veggies the way we consume them. Because of the sugars in fruit they should be digested apart from veggies. Apple is generally recognized as being safe to mix with veggies. Fruits by themselves are so easlily absorbed that mixing them with anything even veggies slows jown digestion and gives rise to fermentaion and gas production, this is even more pronounced if improperly combining acid fruits. It is this incomplete digestion I suspect which leads to a lot of illnesses. Fruit should not always be taken on an empty stomach the system should be clear of other material which is rare these days.
