Thanks so much for posting other ingredients that are also useful to cleanse the bowels. This may be exactly what I am looking for.....linseed/flaxseed & bentonite shakes!

Psyllium cannot be bought over the counter here in Taiwan, so I am looking for some other bowel cleansers. Would you tell me more about using linseed/flaxseed to cleanse the bowels. I would guess that crushed seeds would be the best way to use the seeds. What is the recipe you use? How often do you take it? What other things should I pay attention to when using flax/linseed?

Cherokee: why do you think flax is better than psyllium?
