Re: Sounds good
I don't know what form because it's weird...it's on my back, scalp and sometimes face.
I am using medicinal essential oil on my back and face (lavendar oil from Young Living and Oil of Oregano) and that seems to (slowly) kill them. But my scalp is different, as it's hard to find the bumps and I'm never sure if I got the oil on the bumps or just mostly on my hair...and I don't have the money to buy numerous bottles of expensive essential oils.
My head also itches...a lot...
So I've been thinking/dreaming about pouring raw apple cider vinegar all over my head for almost a week now, so yesterday decided that maybe my body was trying to tell me something... so I did it.
I got a big bowl out, took about a cup of vinegar and slowly dripped it all over my scalp, working it in with my fingers. The run-off went into the large bowl, which I scooped back up and reapplied.
The first time, I just let it sit for a few minutes and then washed my hair. The second and third time, I left it in, wrapping my head in a towel, and didn't rinse it out for at least an hour.
Other than smelling really bad to my children (lol), I'm glad I let it sit that long. I could really tell a difference. I think I'll keep that up, because buying new raw cider vinegar is a LOT cheaper than buying those small bottles of essential oils, and I figure the vinegar has GOT to be killing stuff up there...
While I'm waiting for my juicer to arrive, I'm eating a whole foods vegan diet. Once I get the juicer in, I'll start on the recommended juice fast, and I also bought some
parasite cleanses, so I'll do those too.
I'm frustrated about the folliculitis (though feel like I'm getting a slow handle on it), but have to say, I'm grateful in that having the problem is giving me the impetus to getting back to the whole foods diet that we used to have.
