Re: getting up earlier=less daytime fatigue (why & anyone else notice this?)

Hi 17163...I don't know why it is...but I do know that the less sleep I get...
the better I can function. Now I know that sounds ridiculous...but it's very
true.

A while back we were having a potluck at church and 2 of the ladies were talking
about sleeping late...they're retired..& one even said she sometimes sleeps as late
as 9:30. I said, "Well if my husband found me sleeping at even 7a.m..he wouldn't
even check me...he'd just call the undertaker." :-) Because I am an early riser...
and it doesn't matter what time I get to bed. In fact, I have a problem with insomnia...and often am still awake at 2 or 3a.m. but I still wake up around
4 or 4:30 a.m....we haven't had to set an alarm clock in years. :-)

And I have energy to beat the band all day. On the rare occasions I have gone to
sleep at 11p.m. and slept on through until 4:30...I didn't feel nearly as good
the next day as I do getting only 2 or 3 hours sleep. So I'm content with that...
don't want to sleep my life away anyway. :-)
