And have you ever been in one of these clinics? Have you ever gone to an abortion clinic and requested an abortion? If not, then I suppose you have no idea about the gruesome truths that they show and tell before these girls go through with their procedures. Not only are they required by law to make sure these girls read all about abortions and how carrying a pregnancy full terms carries more risks and dangers, they go beyond what the law requires girls to know.
If someone is in the clinic, they've done their damn research, trust me. Nobody looks at abortions as just taking out the trash; they know what they're doing and they're having enough of a hard time with their decisions that the protestors outside the clinics banging on their car windows and loud-mouth pro-lifers don't affect them much.
People like that create indifference about abortions.
I was in one of those clinics today. I was told more there than by others who had already had abortions and all the research I had done beforehand. The staffs at these clinics aren't ignorant. They're not trying to psychologically damage people. I think some of you are so judgmental, you'd never fully understand why a woman would even consider an abortion. Probably because your lives have worked out better for you than for others. Maybe you had more support in your relationships, more financial stability, more understanding families and lovers, less dreams and ambitions that couldn't be carried out with children on board.

Ok. I had an abortion today. Why? Because I am not financially stable, I would have given that child a horrible life. I'm a selfish girl who is more concerned about the dreams and goals of myself and my boyfriend. I'm sorry if that upsets some of you, but I'd rather my life be good rather than have my life, my lover's life, my child's life, and my family's life be ruined.
Sue me.
