Actually, while I'm pro-choice, I'm all in favor of people knowing what it is they're doing when they choose an abortion. Someone who chooses to abort a child should have some idea what it is that that really means.
It doesn't mean that they should
have to -- no one has to go look at the pictures, and the anonymous originator of this thread warned that it was graphic -- but we shouldn't try to fool ourselves about it. It's not pretty.
Likewise, all the pro-war pro-lifers should go look at the pictures of the Iraqi children who've been maimed or killed or who are suffering birth defects courtesy of depleted uranium or even that Iraqi woman who was shot and killed (as was the unborn child) while rushing to the hospital for delivery, and then imagine themselves and their own children in that situation. It's also not pretty. Then they should ask themselves why white folks' babies are worth fighting for, but the dark-skinned babies deserve their fate.
And they should really stop painting Jesus as a caucasian.
