The stuff the doctor recommended for me suppressed the surface symptom, made the itchy ring on my skin go away, but apparently topical treatment just drives the worm deeper into the body, as a couple years later, when I was taking Clarkia , the thing came out of my body with a roar.

I'd treat it systemically with GBWH, WW, Cloves.
