2 Questions (for now!)

I love this forum. I have my Lugols ordered and am impatiently waiting. Please, if you have answers or thoughts, answer a couple of questions for me.
1 - My wife is allergic to iodine, can't eat seafood without getting sick. This raises all sorts of questions, but I'll just stick to this one: How can she benefit from Iodine therapy if my experimentation proves beneficial to me?
2 - Posts on this forum have hinted at a possible link to ADHD or ADD and Iodine deficiency. Does anybody have any more info on this? I have a friend whose child is ADHD and very strong-willed, would like to give her some encouragement. Maybe one day he will be just strong-willed? (Doesn't count as a third question!)
