Re: extreme gum sensitivity
'Dunno the actual cause, but I do know the cure :)
After brushing/flossing/swishing (whatever), lick your finger, dip it in your bag of Slippery Elm powder and rub it 'into' all the cracks, crevices, pits, dimples (and anyplace it can be rubbed)...along your gum line AND into your actual teeth.
(This is just a 'feeling', but it's a strong one...something seems to be telling me rather loudly that mixing Slippery Elm with a bit of Castor Oil and doing 'theabove', would be even more beneficial. That just 'came', I've never tried it myself).
Slippery elm has been known to help remineralizing teeth, and it's 'the bomb' for receding/damaged gums (just like with any damaged tissue...internally OR externally).
Remember folks, slippery elm can heal/cause new skin growth on the deepest of bed sores, skin ulcerations, stomach/intestinal damage...and even grow skin where the skin has become totally necrotic (gangrene). NEVER underestimate the major healing power of Slippery Elm.
Sophie...you're gonna have blast going back to the "professional" who told you needed grafts...with vibrantly healthy gums :) WOOHOO!
