Actually, your post is well taken - and if you take a look, I clarified what I was saying a bit, mostly by including a blog from Jon Barron today.

There is reason to be concerned, I just disagree with the alarmist and misleading way the facts were misrepresented. Going beyond the facts like that detracts from the efforts of those of us who want to preserve out freedom of choice in natural health and alternative treatments.

Yes, I am knowledgeable about the history of true healers and the persecutions and prosecutions they have been subjected to for over a century now - and continue to be persecuted and prosecuted to this day by the agencies who are firmly in the hand of Big Pharma and Big Medicine, foremost of which is the FDA.

I totally agree with you on Codex. Big Pharma has been waging a war against any and all competition for almost a century now, and winning almost every step of the way. It appears that soon our food supply, with the Genetically-Modified crops and processing may go the same way as what has happened to natural remedies. I can almost see the day when we will be told that only crops and foods engineered by man are real food and that natural unprocessed alternatives are unsafe.

As my good internet friend Webster Kehr ("The Cancer Tutor") asks, "When did God become a quack?"

Codex is indeed an abomination, and more are on the way. Indeed we must not remain silent and must stand up for our rights. But I say that we do ourselves no good by misrepresenting and twisting the facts!
