Parasites/Worms : Other delivery mechanisms for iodine?

Does anyone have experience with Iodine in different forms (non-oral)?

We are trying to formulate an method to deliver elemental Iodine or tannin (organic Iodine from Black-Walnut -green hull) into areas where the herbs don't reach. The worm scattering phenomena during parasite cleanse is causing much suffering for some members for some time, with no viable solution in sight. Most surviving worms either move to the lower legs (between muscles) or burrow deeper into organs, causing distress & pain.

Please post your methods of preparation & application, if possible. Specifically in preparation of creams / intra-muscular spray / vapor inhalation, if applicable.
