Hey, Niles is the very first place I tried; if it hadn't been for the fact that I THOUGHT I'd found it locally (compounding pharmacy that wouldn't sell it without a prescription, AFTER I canceled the Niles order) ...I would have been dosing all this time with the Lugol's from Niles.

And quite honestly, I sincerely doubt there's any reason NOT to buy/use what you got from Niles. The criteria for all the various grades is INCREDIBLY persnickety. Something can be made from the purest of Reagent Grade chemicals and distilled water, yet NOT be USP (because the lab didn't pay the money and jump through the right USP "hoops"). People are taking kelp in major quantities without ANY "grading" scale...and it's LOADED with pure poison from the ocean.

It's probably only that we're "chemically challenged" that we even give a hoot. Grrr, why oh WHY didn't I ever 'bite the bullet' and take chemistry??? Oh yeah, that'd be because I thought I didn't need it and that I could TRUST the people in charge of putting chemicals in my food. DUH ME.
