I also have the thick mucous discharge. I have had the Mirena since January 2006 . Tons of side effects and never thought that it was mirena either. Until finding this forum. Checking into having it removed. My insurance company said they won't cover the removal so need to check with my doctor on cost. I want it removed ASAP. Do not like how I feel.
